Special Guest Speaker: Don Tait
Don will present “Bringing Him Home: The Identification of an Unknown WWI Soldier” – the extraordinary story of his role in identifying a fallen Australian soldier whose identity was a mystery for over a century. Hear how painstaking research led to tracking down the soldier’s family, the moment he broke the news to them, and the moving journey to France to see their relative finally laid to rest with his name restored.

A fascinating and deeply personal story of history, dedication and the enduring importance of bringing a fallen soldier home.

Wider veteran, families and members welcome 😊
