BEE and BBQ Day – SPORT AND RECREATION

We’re excited to invite you to a special Bee Day – a fun and educational afternoon for all!
Date: SUNDAY 15 November
Time: Between 10am – 2pm
Location: Andrew Harrison’s property – 37 Beal Avenue, Mitchells Island.
What’s happening on the day:
🐝 Try on a bee suit (if you’re feeling brave!)
🍯 See inside the hives and learn about how bees do their amazing work
🍯 Watch the honey being spun and taste it fresh from the source
📚 Learn about the honey-making process from hive to jar
🍽️ Relax on the deck and enjoy a BBQ with good company
It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, learn something new, and catch up with members.
Pool available for the kids (or adults) too.! (Please supervise your child in the pool)
PLEASE RSVP for catering purposes.
Please wear long pants and covered shoes. If anyone has allergies to bee’s please let us know.
BBQ lunch provided / soft drinks / water.
Please bring a chair and a hat.
Bee keeping is wonderful for PTSD, anxiety and mental health issues.
